I began my career at the University of Chicago. After writing a profile on pathologist Donald Rowley, he commissioned me to write his wife Janet's biography. The journey led me from the Rowleys' Hyde Park home to the White House, and stoked my passions for scientific, political, and women's issues. I continue to work on the book and freelance.
Current clients include: Positive magazine, Perspectives magazine, University of Chicago & Weiss Memorial Hospital. But there can never be too many, so please email katie@katiescarlettbrandt.com.
